William Dean Berden

BERDEN, WILLIAM D. “BILL” of Clarkston, passed away surrounded by his family on January 9, 2025 at 66 years of age. Loving husband of Jill (née Findlay) for 42 years; dear father of Breana Purdy and Kyla (Brian) Stogsdill; cherished Poppy of Alayna, Dean, Palmer, and another on the way; brother of the late James Berden, the late Debbie Blackshear, Robin Sitzlar, Barbara Berden, and Jackie (Jay) VanderWeel; son of the late Robert Berden and the late Shirley Lawson. Bill was a 1976 graduate of Waterford Kettering High School and retired from GM in 2006 after over 30 years of service. He enjoyed time with his family and friends, golfing; snowmobiling; softball; racquetball; boating; and time at their cabin in Mancelona. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
