Wanda Mae Mobley of Waterford, MI, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on February 15, 1932, to James and Thelma Mostsinger, Wanda lived a life full of love, laughter, and devotion to her family.
She was the beloved wife of Arthur D. Mobley for 68 beautiful years. Together, they raised three cherished children: Gail (Brian) Redder, David (Rhonda) Mobley, and Gary (Anne) Mobley. Wanda’s greatest joy was her growing family, which came to include seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She loved them all fiercely and never missed an opportunity to spend time with her grandkids.
Wanda enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—reading, crossword puzzles, sudoku, and a good visit to Mickey D’s. She had a special talent for keeping a warm and welcoming home, always neat and well cared for, inside and out. Her green thumb and love of gardening brought beauty to her world.
A true lady in every sense, Wanda was known for her grace—except during a lively game of ping pong, where her competitive spirit would shine through.
Wanda will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
As were her wishes, a private funeral service will be held for Wanda. A memorial gathering will take place at the Oakland County Sportsmen's Club in Clarkston, Michigan on Friday, May 16, 2025, the family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon.
