Verna Mae (Sachs) Trosien

TROSIEN, VERNA M. (née Sachs) of Clarkston, formerly of Inkster/Westland, passed away July 25, 2025 at 96 years of age. Loving wife of the late Ervin Trosien for 45 years; cherished mother of David (Mary) Trosien, Craig (Dianne) Trosien, Vicky (David) Gignac, and Sue (David) Pierce; grandmother of Hannah, Crystal (John), Nicholas (Carmen), Shannon (Jeremy), Stephanie (David), Alex, Jake, and the late Shelly; great grandmother of 4 and preceded in death by one great grandchild; sister of Betty and Marge, and preceded in death by siblings Marvin, Wilbur, Ruth, Bertha, and Helen. Verna was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a sweet and kind disposition, never spoke a bad word about anybody, and was a true friend to all. She enjoyed playing cards, puzzles and bingo. Her outgoing personality made her the center of family gatherings. A woman of faith, she attended Guardian Lutheran Church in Dearborn for many years.
