With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Trisha Marie Stites, 35, of Lake Orion, Michigan on March 9th, 2026. A truly strong and beautiful soul who fought a long and courageous battle with systemic sclerosis.
Trisha leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She is survived by her Mother Kimberly (Brent) Beer, her Father Ritchie Moya, her Sister Emily, her Brother Ritchie JR., Grandparents Rudy (Esther) Moya and Steven Stites, and was the beloved Granddaughter of the late Connie Stites. Trisha had many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who loved her. Though their hearts are broken by her loss, they find comfort in knowing how bravely she lived and that she is no longer in pain.
Her animals were a huge part of her life and brought her endless joy. Two very special companions, Niemo and Bubba, held a huge place in Trisha’s heart — her beloved dogs, who she lovingly called her boys. They were more than pets to her; they were family, constant sources of comfort, loyalty, and unconditional love. She was also the proud cat mom to Bebe and Little Girl, who added even more love and personality to her home. The bond she shared with her animals reflected the deep love she carried within her.
Trisha’s life was a testament to strength, love, and perseverance. Though her time with us was far too short, the light she brought into the world will never be forgotten. Her love, her courage, and her gentle spirit will continue to live on in the memories of all who knew and loved her.
A viewing will be held for family and friends on Friday, March 20th from 4:00–8:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home, 8909 Dixie Hwy, Village of Clarkston, MI 48348.
