Timothy Robert Courtemanche

Timothy (Tim)  was born on April 4, 1966, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Robert James and Marcella Jean Courtemanche (née Tode). He attended Pontiac Northern High School and later took classes at Oakland Community College. Tim was truly a jack of all trades and someone who could fix or build just about anything. Over the years he worked in real estate, flipping houses and managing rental properties. He also owned and operated his own interior and exterior painting businesses, TNT Painting and later Full House Painting, where his strong work ethic and craftsmanship earned him the respect of many. Outside of work, Tim had a deep love for classic cars. He spent countless hours in the garage working on projects like his 1966 Impala and his 1979 K5 Blazer, often with good rock ‘n’ roll or country music playing in the background. He loved the satisfaction of building something with his own hands. Tim lived on a private lake where he enjoyed one of his favorite pastimes—taking friends and family out on his boat and spending time together on the water. Those moments reflected who he was at heart: someone who valued connection, laughter, and making memories with the people he loved. He was the glue that held people together. Tim was incredibly generous with his time, knowledge, and skills, always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. His family meant everything to him, and he was especially close with his children, always there when they needed guidance, support, or simply someone to talk to. He had a remarkable ability to form lasting friendships with people of all ages, and those friendships meant the world to him. Tim will be deeply missed by his Life Partner of 17 years, Valerie Peake. He is survived by his children, Timothy (Ashtin Comstock) Courtemanche and Tyler (Trevor Hayes) Courtemanche; his grandchildren, Brock Courtemanche and Lilliana Hayes; his siblings, Beloved brother of Diane Blair and Becky Hilborn; and his two beloved “furbabies,” Autumn and Pepè.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
