Thurman Luther Magill

MAGILL, THURMAN LUTHER, age 98, of Waterford, passed away September 15, 2023. He was born on November 2, 1924, in Wheat, Tennessee, son to the late Benjamin and Dora Magill (nee Freels). Loving husband of the late Golda, dear father Charles “Ben” (Patti Vail) Magill and Gary (Darlene) Magill; proud grandfather of Kevin, Kenneth, and the late Lindsey. Thurman worked as an appliance repairman for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, gardening, and helping his neighbors, but he cherished his time with his grandkids most of all. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, 1:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home-Waterford, the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:30 AM until time of service. Interment Crescent Hills Cemetery in Waterford, Michigan. Memorial donations in Thurman’s name may be made to the St. Jude Tribute Program.
