Steven Phillip Doll, age 65, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025. Born on January 7, 1960, in Pontiac, Michigan, Steve was the beloved son of the late Victor and Mary Viola Doll (née Nickerson).
A proud graduate of Pontiac Central High School, Class of 1978, Steven went on to build a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and love. He spent over 25 years as a dedicated laborer for Morrell Inc, where he eventually would retire from. Steven had a passion for life’s simple joys. A fan of baseball, he especially loved cheering on his beloved Detroit Tigers. He also enjoyed gambling, but his true love was music. Saying Steven "enjoyed karaoke" is an understatement—he had a remarkable singing voice and a gift for entertaining. For many years, Steven and his wife, Mary Anne, shared their love of music by hosting karaoke at weddings, local pubs, and Fraternal Order of Eagles clubs. Their musical partnership brought joy to countless lives until Steven's health declined and he made the heartfelt decision to donate his equipment. Steven's greatest love was his wife and best friend, Mary Anne (née Gardner-Myers). Their friendship spanned decades before they married on September 15, 2018.
Steve is survived by his devoted wife of nearly seven years, Mary Anne Doll; his children: Steven Doll, Mathew (Tina) Doll, and Jared (Connie) Doll; and stepchildren: Philip Myers and Lyn (Brittany) Myers. He was a proud grandfather to Madison, Zachary, the late Michael, Justine, Reighn, Bryce, Natalie, Elynna, and step-grandchildren Brayden and Ellie. He also leaves behind his siblings: James (Sandra) Doll, Sandy (James) Welch, and Deborah (Joe) Moran, and his loving sister the late Mary Kathleen Doll, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Steven will be remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, unforgettable voice, and unwavering love for his family.
