Sterling Edward Shelton

SHELTON, STERLING E. of Clarkston, passed away September 25, 2024 at 65 years of age. Dear husband of the late Sherry; father of Shelby and Amber Shelton; beloved son of the late Oscar and the late Marbeth Shelton; brother of Don (Beverly) Bruce, Valerie Koop, Mark (the late Suzanne) Shelton, Amy Shelton, Teresa Graber, and the late Richard Shelton. Sterling was a 1977 graduate of Lake Orion High School and worked for GM at the Orion Plant for 18 years. He was a man with a great sense of humor who dearly loved his family. He loved to sing and play guitar and spent many years playing in small venues singing Eagles and country covers. An avid Tiger fan, Sterling loved old cars, especially hot rods and muscle cars. Arrangements entrusted to COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
