Sharon Linda Taylor (McIntosh) 86 of Waterford, MI passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on June 20, 2026.
Born March 8, 1940 in Jackson, MI Sharon was the beloved daughter of Evelyn Agar (Blanchard), who raised Sharon as a single working mother. There were loving and devoted neighboring aunts, uncles and cousins that were always there for her.
Sharon was the devoted and loving mother of the late
Michael Taylor (wife Nancy) of Massachusetts and their children Zachary and Benjamin and
great grand children Evan, Paige & Nora.
Michele & (Jim) Sullivan of Connecticut and children James and John
Brian (Lynn) Taylor of Lake Orion
And Children Nathan, Derrick, Emily and great grandchild Ella.
Darin (Angela) Taylor of Ortonville and children Alexanna & Cassia.
Sharon enjoyed many professional roles throughout her career.
She’s worked in advertising for the Oakland Press, and several radio stations. Later going into banking where she’d been a bank manager for many years.
After retirement, she went on to working part-time at the Waterford Elks Club where she’d made many meaningful friendships.
Through the years Sharon dedicated her time to her graduating class of 1957 at Waterford Township on the Reunion committee. She truly loved reconnecting with friends and organizing events to bring everyone together!
Sharon’s love of traveling took her to many European and Caribbean destinations, and as often as possible to her out of state children.
Sharon will always be remembered for her kindness, great smile and incredible sense of humor and quick wit!
