Scott Edward Braunschneider

BRAUNSCHNEIDER, SCOTT EDWARD, age 53 of Clarkston, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. He was born October 24, 1968 in Lansing. Scott was a skilled auto technician for many companies over several years but most recently worked for Chrysler where he was lucky enough to travel all over the world. He visited places like Alaska, New Zealand, California, and Utah where he performed cold weather testing for newer model cars. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed snowmobiling with his favorite Uncle Steve and friends. Scott would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it; he would stop whatever he was doing, without hesitation, to help any friend or family member who needed it. He was tons of fun and a big teaser with his nieces and nephews, which of course made him their favorite uncle. Some would even say he was the favorite of the entire family! He lived his life to the fullest and had a great time doing it. Scott is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Jill Braunschneider; mother, Pam (Ron) Collins; siblings: Brian (Sue) Braunschneider, Jason (Brooke) Brown, Sarah (Donnie) Pittman, Carlee (Ryan) Baker, and Emily Collins; nephews: Jacob, Zachary, Nicholas, Jacobi, and Remi; nieces: Ava, Kenli, and Kimber; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends: Matt Moulder, Scott Gorham and Rich Keely. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Monday, January 10, 2022 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 4-7pm and again on Monday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment at Ottawa Park Cemetery.
