Robert Lawrence Yaroch

YAROCH, ROBERT LAWRENCE of Waterford, went home to be with the Lord April 28, 2022 at 73 years of age. Born in Detroit, Michigan on July 10, 1948 to loving parents who preceded him in death; Robert Florian and Juanita Elizabeth Yaroch (nee Gunter); beloved husband of Kathleen Yaroch (nee Farquharson) for wonderful 52 years; father of Sharon Theresa Park, Robert Michael (Sarah) Yaroch, and preceded in death by daughter Stephanie Ann Yaroch; proud grandfather of Destrey, James, Jessica, Jordan, Jacob, Matthew, Makayla, Robert, and Andrew; brother of Marsha (Paul) Lutz and Janice (Don) Cooper. Robert graduated from St. Mary’s of Redford High School in 1966. He met the love of his life Kathleen at a sock hop; he was the DJ and she was taking a break from dancing when he introduced himself and took her right back on the dance floor. The two of them married May 2, 1970 and went on to raise a family together. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lawrence Technical University. He went on to work for MCM Management until he retired 33 years later. Most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite hobby. He also enjoyed investing in the stock market and checking his investments. Robert had a heart of gold, doing his best to help anyone in need. He was a man who lived his faith and served as a deacon for Berkley Assembly of God and Good Shepherd Assembly of God.  Robert will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 4-9 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD (3141 Sashabaw Rd.). A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7th, 2022 at 11 AM at NEW HOPE BIBLE CHURCH OF CLARKSTON (8643 Sashabaw).
