For more than 35 years, Robert dedicated his career to Chrysler before enjoying a well-earned retirement. While he took pride in his work, but some of his happiest moments were spent on the baseball field. A lifelong lover of the Detroit Tigers, Robert coached baseball in his younger years and remained especially proud of leading the boys Bronco B team to a State Championship victory; a memory he treasured throughout his life.
Robert found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time fishing, searching for hidden treasures with his metal detector, tending to his beloved tomato garden, and enjoying marshmallows and popsicles. He was also passionate about spending time with his family, and together they shared many enjoyable and memorable travels throughout our great country, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations. He was known for his outgoing personality, quick wit, and playful spirit. Whether he was sharing a joke, teasing a friend, or simply making others laugh, Robert had a gift for bringing people together and ensuring there was always fun to be had.
One of Robert's greatest companions was his beloved dog, Misty. Their bond was undeniable, and Robert faithfully took her on drives around town three times a day; something they both looked forward to and enjoyed immensely.
