Rhea Ellen Thomas

THOMAS, RHEA E. of Waterford, passed away July 25, 2024 at 70 years of age. Loving wife of Dale for 46 years; beloved mother of Justin (Amanda) Thomas and Becca Thomas; grandmother of Aiden and Colton; sister of the late Grant (Mary) Becker; sister in law of Sandy Thomas. Rhea was born in Ohio to Paul and Donna (née Grandt) Becker in 1953. Her childhood was spent in Ohio and every summer the family would reside in the family cottage on Hills Beach in Biddeford, Maine, a place that Rhea would cherish and love her entire life, her heart would always be in Maine. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education and taught for only a few years and spent her time raising her family in Michigan and worked 17 years for Schafer Chiropractic in Waterford. Rhea was a master gardener; a member of the North Oakland Dart Association; and a volunteer for the Drayton Plains Nature Center. She will be forever loved and missed.
