Peter Danyeal Bennett

BENNETT, PETER D. of Auburn Hills, passed away July 19, 2024 at 46 years of age. Loving father of Ashlyn “Wes” Bennett; beloved son of Yupin and the late Larry Bennett; dear brother of Brent “Ben” (Teresa) Sterling and Lisa (Kevin) Mittchell; uncle of Brent (Eryn), Quentin (Savanna), Shana, and Tram; great uncle of Layla, Henry, and Ozzy; also survived by the mother of his child, Tami Campbell. Peter attended Pontiac High School and was a veteran of the US Army. A machinist by trade, Peter loved gaming; alternative rock music; and fishing with his mom. He had a great sense of humor that never stopped, and could insert a humorous one liner in the most serious conversations. He was thoughtful, thought only of others, and adored his family. Gone to soon from our lives he will never be forgotten. Family will receive friends Monday, July 29, 2024 from 4-8 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Interment with military honors will be Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 11 AM at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
