Patty Ruth Meinhart

MEINHART, PATTY R. of Ortonville, formerly of Pontiac, passed away April 8, 2025 at 82 years of age. Loving wife of the late Jack Meinhart; dear mother of Jackqulin (Art) Varady, Lanta (Michael) Garris, the late Regina Matouq, Timothy (Susan) Meinhart, and Terry (Allen) Wood; grandmother of Kelly (Mike), Timothy (Alisha), Christopher, Nicholas, Matthew (Sabrina), Ryan (Margaux), and Emily (Joe); great grandmother of 13; preceded in death by her parents Luther and Roxie Lipscomb and four sisters and one brother. Patty enjoyed many of the simple things in life. She was an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Pontiac. She and Jack met at the roller rink and would spend a lifetime playing cards and games with friends; trips to Vegas; dining out at Olive Garden; and spending time with grandchildren. Patty enjoyed quilting, sewing, country music, and baking pies. She was interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Arrangements entrusted to COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD.
