Patricia Jean Beam

BEAM, PATRICIA J. — went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 26, 2026, at 88 years of age.

Beloved wife of the late Robert L. Beam. Cherished mother of Kerri (Doug) Heinzman, Kelli Jo (Craig) Winnie, and Korri (Paul) Cowen. Dear grandmother of Andrea (Matthew Messana) Angott, Troy (Andria) Angott, Jordan (Walker) McIntyre, Erin (Will) Beamish, Emily (Michael) Hough, Joshua (Sarah) Cowen, and Rachel Cowen. Proud great-grandmother of Rebekah, Joshua, Bradley, Charlotte, Declan, and Miles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Margaret (née Lehnard) Wetter, and brothers, Reed Wetter and Tracy Wetter.

She was a teacher at Indianwood Christian School in Oxford where she nurtured and tutored students for over eight years. Patricia was a beloved sales associate at Cary Ann Hallmark for more than 15 years, where she became a familiar and friendly face to many customers who looked forward to seeing her when they stopped in. 

She was also a charter member of Hope Community Church in Waterford, where her faith and devotion were evident in all she did. Known by many as a true “prayer warrior,” Patricia faithfully lifted up family, friends, and even strangers in prayer. She was a stalwart member of her church’s card ministry, thoughtfully sending words of encouragement, comfort, and celebration to her church family.

Patricia had a feisty spirit and a wonderful sense of humor that those closest to her will always remember. She also cherished her quiet moments, often spending time reading or sewing, simple pleasures that brought her great joy.

Above all, Patricia will be remembered for her deep faith, her caring heart, and the love she shared so freely with her family and those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, prayer, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 12 PM at Heritage Baptist Church, 2024 Pontiac Rd, Auburn Hills. Family will receive friends at the church 10 AM until time of service.
