Pamela Sue (Duncan) Malega

MALEGA, PAMELA S. of Waterford, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2025 at 65 years of age surrounded by her loved ones. Loving wife of the late Robert “Rob” Malega; dear mother of Cassondra (fiancée Justin Gonzales) Watkins and Travis (Lyndsey) Watkins; grandmother of Mason, Mario, Liliana, Kenny, and Travis James; sister of Shirley (Dan) Haglund and Donna (Bob) MacMillan; aunt to several nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her parents Oral and Ruth Duncan. Pam was a 1978 graduate of Waterford Kettering High School and retired from Rite Aid Distribution Center in 2021 after over 20 years of service. She met and married Rob and spent their life raising their family. She enjoyed bingo; camping; the beach; and Vegas casinos. Most important to her was spending time with her family. She was the epitome of grit, determination and incredible perseverance and what she often loved to say, “Throw me to the wolves and I will return leading the pack.” She will be forever missed and loved. A memorial service will be held, Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 2 PM COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Sunday 12 PM until time of service.
