BOLT, NORMAN E., of Waterford, passed away on March 13, 2026, at 64 years of age.
Born in Pontiac, Michigan, to his loving parents, Harry and Ruth Ann (née Lemond) Bolt, Norm was a lifelong member of the community he proudly served. He was the dear brother of Brian, Terry, Bob, Pam, Joan, Cindy, and Julia, and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A 1979 graduate of Waterford Mott High School, Norm dedicated 40 years of service as a custodian with the Waterford School District. Most recently at Mason Middle School, he was looking forward to his upcoming retirement. Norm was more than a staff member—he was a familiar, friendly, and dependable presence whose impact was felt deeply by both students and staff. His passing has left a profound void in the school community.
Outside of work, Norm had a passion for sports. He especially enjoyed watching Detroit Tigers baseball and was a devoted fan of the Detroit Lions. One of his favorite pastimes was gathering with friends to watch games, share laughs, and enjoy each other’s company. He also loved golfing, finding both relaxation and camaraderie on the course.
Known for his sarcastic sense of humor, Norm had a way of making those around him laugh, often when they least expected it. His wit, easygoing nature, and steady presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Norm will be remembered for his years of quiet dedication, his love of sports and friendship, and the many smiles he brought to those around him.
