Nancy Ann (Beane) Tucker

Nancy Ann Tucker (née Beane), of Grand Blanc, formerly of Clarkston, Ortonville, and Sterling Heights, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Nancy was the beloved wife of Thomas E. Tucker, with whom she shared 42 wonderful years of marriage after they were united on April 26, 1969. Their love story began at a dance at Utica High School, where they shared their first dance to a Bob Seger song. Thomas had grown up just around the block from Nancy and spent his childhood in Scouts with her brothers.

She was the loving daughter of the late Floyd James Beane and Betty Jane Beane (née Jenkins); dear sister of Randy (Carrie) Beane and Stephen Beane; devoted mother of Holly (David) Smith and Thomas (Jenna) Tucker; proud grandmother of Erica (Nolan) Wilson, Stephanie (Kevin) Smith, Madison (Kyle) Smith, Megan Smith, Tanner Tucker, and Rylee Tucker; and cherished great-grandmother of McKinley Wilson, Clay Smith, and Wrenlee Smith.

Nancy's greatest joy was caring for her family. She lovingly sewed clothes and soccer shorts for her children, faithfully packed lunches, and was always the one preparing meals for sports tournaments, friends, and social gatherings. She found immense happiness in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she adored immensely. 

An adventurous spirit, Nancy enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, including Hawaii and the Bahamas, as well as exploring England, Germany, Belgium, Holland, and Switzerland. She loved kayaking, participating in community activities, and famously celebrated her adventurous heart by going skydiving at 70 years old. Nancy also cherished her beloved pets; the late Laddie, Snuggles, Lover, and Sophie.

Nancy will be remembered for her selfless heart, unwavering love for her family, adventurous spirit, and the countless lives she touched through her kindness and generosity.

The family will receive friends at Coats Funeral Home – Clarkston, 8909 Dixie Highway, Clarkston, Michigan 48348, on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. At the families request a private interment will take place at White Chapel Cemetery.
