Nancy Jane (Eddy) Baldwin

Nancy Jane Baldwin, age 84, of Springfield Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Born in Pontiac, Michigan, on December 8, 1941, Nancy was the beloved daughter of the late William Glen Eddy and Margaret Ann Eddy (née Koska).

Nancy was the cherished wife and soulmate of the late Darwin Eugene Baldwin, with whom she shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Nancy deeply loved Darwin and relied on him. Their bond was one of unwavering commitment and affection.

She was the mother of Tami (David) Parafian and the proud grandmother of Danielle Parafian. Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Ann Stevens, and brother-in-law, Phillip Stevens. She is also survived by her loving nieces, Debbi (the late Gary Andrus) Stevens and Cyndi (Darryl Dudas) Stevens, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Nancy met the love of her life, Darwin, at high school. She graduated from Waterford Kettering High School in 1958. From that moment on, their lives were forever intertwined. Nancy was a remarkably talented artist with a gift for creating realistic portraits of people, pets, and landscapes using pencils and stencils. Her artistic abilities were widely admired. She designed hair illustrations for renowned hairstylist David Pressley and created parking signs for General Motors executives. Nancy also completed many self-portraits that showcased both her talent and her unique personality.

Beyond her artistic gifts, Nancy was an accomplished seamstress and an exceptional baker whose creations brought joy to family and friends. Her family finds comfort knowing she has been reunited with her beloved Darwin.

Nancy will be laid to rest on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Andersonville Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to attend and witness her burial as they gather to honor and celebrate her life.
