GOMEZ, MOISES of Waterford, passed away December 17, 2024 at 88 years of age. Loving husband of the late Raquel for 38 years; dear father of Adam Gomez, Rebecca (Marc) Poulin, and Christopher (Alida) Gomez; grandfather of Michael (Joelle), Victoria (Michael), Alexander, Cruz, Isabelle, and Nicholas; great grandfather of Alayna, Lucas, Olivia, Ezra, and Mayvis; brother of Amelia “Mel” (Russell) Bilderbeck, Noe Gomez, the late Rosie (Max) Rodriguez, Adam Gomez, Rudy (Linda) Gomez, Delores Gomez, Estella (Tim) Straub, and Carmen (Max) Rojas. Moises was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a service technician for Pitney Bowes and he retired in 1997 after over 30 years of service. Moises was a huge Detroit Tiger fan that never missed a game, as well as fishing and boating. He was the eldest of nine and was always watching over and protecting his younger siblings. A man with a sarcastic and dry sense of humor, who will always be remembered as a loving and affectionate husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Funeral service will be held Monday, December 23, 2024 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-5 PM.
