Michael "Mike" Vincent Tierney

TIERNEY, MICHAEL (“Mike”) VINCENT, age 87, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2022 at his home in Lourdes Senior Community, Waterford, MI. Mike was born July 19, 1934 in Lincoln Park, MI and resided in both Waterford and Tarpon Springs, FL. He was a man of great faith and lived the Gospel with prayer as the cornerstone of his life. Mike was a “car guy,” employed by General Motors for 40 years and rising through the ranks to complete his career as a senior human resources executive.  He had a passion for serving the Lord by serving others. Beloved husband of the late Sally Tierney (nee Milligan) for 57 wonderful years; cherished brother of Jane Tierney, Margaret Mary “Dolly” (Donald Sr.) TeBeau, and preceded in death by older sisters: Dorothy (the late Clarence) Hicks, Sr. Rosemary Tierney, CSJ, and by both parents Michael and Martha Tierney (nee Howe); proud uncle to a multitude of nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Mike will be dearly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to St. Joseph Mercy Hospice or Lourdes Senior Community.
