MYRE, MICHAEL D. “BUBBA” of Waterford, passed away June 28, 2025 at 73 years of age. Loving husband of Nita (née Moore) for 38 years; brother of Tom (Peggy) Myre, Alyce Bolser, Jeanne (Ed) Bonderenka, Penny (John) McClain, Bill (Debbie) Myre, Debbie (Glenn) Thomas, and Rudy (Betty) Bone; uncle, great uncle, and great great uncle to many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his parents Wilbert and Adonna (née Bitten) Myre, and Nita’s son Brian Judd. Bubba was a veteran of the US Army in the Vietnam Era and was a career security guard. He was the drummer for the band, Family Affair and his band would perform for several charities throughout Oakland County. Bubba was a member of the Eagles Lodge 1230-Pontiac and Lodge 2887-Waterford. Bubba was a diehard Tiger and Lions fan and followed Detroit basketball and hockey when they were on top, especially in the bad boys days. A wonderful husband and uncle with a wry little smile will be forever missed. Celebration of life will be held July 27, 2025 at Waterford Eagles 2887, 1067 Cass Lake Rd, Waterford with military honors. Arrangements entrusted to COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD.
