Mary Olevia Rembach, née McLean, aged 87, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2021—beloved wife of the late Chester Robert Rembach for 65 years; cherished mother of Connie Lewis, Carol Fuller (Frank Vandeputte), Mary Ann (Mike) Palmer, and Karen (Ricky) Ayotte; grandmother of Rachel, Carly (Charlie), Garrett (Kaitlyn), Lauren, Austin, and Emma; great-grandmother of Sidney, Brayden, Max, Oliver, Mason, and Tristan. She was born on June 8, 1934, in Pontiac, Michigan, later residing with her husband and children in Clarkston, Michigan. Upon her husband’s retirement in 1995, Mary and Chester spent summers in Caseville, Michigan and winters in Panama City Beach, Florida. A devoted wife and mother, Mary was renowned by all who knew her for her kind and gentle spirit. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, fishing, and golfing with Chet. She made delicious pies, strawberry jam, and fudge and always had her beloved dog Boomer by her side. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Her friends and family will dearly miss her. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 12:30 pm at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON, preceded by visitation at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
