Marilyn Weiss passed peacefully on December 20, 2025, at the age of 89, with her loving husband of 56 years, Wayne Weiss, and their trusted and devoted dog, Layla, by her side.
Marilyn was a woman of strong and unwavering faith. She and Wayne placed their trust in the love of the Lord, and it was this faith that guided her life, shaped her values, and sustained her through both joy and sorrow. While her family will miss her endlessly, they find comfort in knowing that Marilyn is now at peace with the Lord she loved so deeply.
Marilyn came from a large and supportive family that meant the world to her. She is survived by her siblings Rodolfo A. Sison, Omega S. Paril, and Richard A. Sison, and was preceded in death by her brothers Jamie A. Sison and Walter A. Sison. She is also lovingly remembered by her 13 brothers- and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who cherished her presence, wisdom, and kindness.
Marilyn and Wayne also carried in their hearts the memory of their two beloved children who passed in infancy, Wayne George Weiss Jr. and Pauline Jennifer Weiss. Their lives, though brief, were deeply loved and never forgotten.
Wayne and Marilyn were people who loved deeply—loving their family, their faith, and one another with steadfast devotion. Together, they built a life rooted in love, compassion, and trust in God. Marilyn’s gentle strength, faithful spirit, and caring heart will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home – Clarkston. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, with family receiving friends beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Marilyn will be remembered always and loved forever.
