Marilyn Sue (Gary) Shaw

SHAW, MARILYN S. (née Gary) of Waterford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 20, 2025 at 85 years of age. Loving wife of the late Edward Shaw; cherished mother of Vicky (the late Rod) Skelton, Margaret Shaw, Todd Sekles, Angela (Stefanie) Sekles, and Shelly Booth; grandmother of Dathon (Buffy), Sarah (Mike), James (Michelle), Laura (Kyle), Chelsea, Myra (Kyle), Marlena, and Mitchell; great grandmother of 11; sister of Cheryl Lebo. Marilyn was born in Marion, IL on April 3, 1940 to Leslie and Lena (née Henshaw) Gary. Marilyn was a certified dental assistant and worked for 30 years for the same dental practice in Clarkston. She had a love of horses and was a proud owner of several Tennessee Walkers. A woman devoted to her family, she thoroughly enjoyed decorating and hosting holiday events. Her and Edward spent many years traveling, cruising, and trips tropical locations, she loved the sun. She and her beautiful smile will be forever missed and loved.
