Margo L. Scott

SCOTT, MARGO L. of Waterford, passed away June 27, 2024 at 80 years of age. Born in Lansing, Michigan to John and Beryl (née Wheaton) Scott; sister of Lola Guillen; dear friend of Marlene Calderwood, Mary Spoor; special aunt of Wendy Conlon; special great aunt of Dr. Ryan Conlon, Maia Conlon, Jake Conlon, and Kate Conlon; and a dear friend to many others. Margo retired in 2002 from the Pontiac School District after 37 years of dedicated service. She was a friend to anyone she met and her kindness was endless and will live on for years to come. An avid reader and a collection of books to prove it, Margo was a good cook with a great sense of humor and made the best Martini. Along with her friends, she adored the cats she loved and cared for over many years. She will be forever missed and loved. A visitation to share the joys of Margo will be held Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 2-5 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Private burial will take place at Crescent Hills Cemetery, Waterford. In Margo's memory please make a donation to Michigan Humane Society or Michigan Animal Rescue League.
