Margaret Ann Hilliard

HILLIARD, MARGARET ANN, age 81 of Ortonville, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She was born on November 1, 1941 in Pontiac to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Musson) Feist. Margaret was a selfless and giving woman who was proud of her independence. She enjoyed her yardwork and keeping her house clean and organized. She had a deep love for Elvis Presley and going to classic car shows, but more than anything she cherished her family. Margaret is survived by her sons: Rick (Sandra) Hilliard and Bob (Melissa) Hilliard; grandchildren: Jason Hilliard, Anna Hilliard, and Kyle Hilliard; longtime friends: Janet and Berna; several nieces, nephews, and extended family; and her cat, Tazzy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hilliard; brother, Gene (the late Judi) Feist; good friends: Tootie and Jack. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, two hours prior to the service, beginning at 11am. Interment at Ottawa Park Cemetery. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Margaret.
