ARNOLD, MARGARET IDA went home to be with the lord on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 93 years old. Margaret was born on September 23, 1928, in Plymouth, Michigan to loving parents Russell and Ima Themm (nee Beyer); beloved wife of Kenneth Arnold for 73 wonderful years; cherished mother of Randall Arnold, Ronald (Gerrie) Arnold, Susan (Randy) Morse, and Janet (Steven) Lane; proud grandmother of Jennifer, Stephen, Eric, James, Katelyn, Austin, Melissa, and Andrew; dearest great grandmother of Natalie, Katrina, Alexander, Ava, and Ethan. Margaret graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1945. Margaret and Ken attended school together, eventually a relationship blossomed after graduation, and they were married in June of 1948. She spent her whole career doing secretarial work in various departments for the state until retirement. In her free time, Margaret enjoyed playing piano, baking, walking, and sewing; when she was able, she loved bowling and golf. Most importantly she was a woman of great faith and regularly attended St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Waterford. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.
