Lynn Paula Northey

NORTHEY, LYNN P. of Waterford, passed away unexpectedly November 13, 2024 at 70 years of age. Loving husband of Ron for 33 years; dear mother of Rachel (Travis) Welch; grandmother of Lucy; preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Evelyn Hicks, and sister, Janis Kaczmarek. Lynn was a licensed barber and worked for 20 years at The Apartment Salon in Southfield. She was a woman of faith and enjoyed spending her time reading, often with several books checked out of the library. She and Ron were Detroit Pistons season ticket holders and enjoyed family time at The Palace. She will be missed but her family takes comfort that she is now in Heaven with her Savior. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 1 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Wednesday 11 AM until time of service.
