Lori Reppuhn Obituary

Lori Jean Reppuhn (née McClenahen) of Waterford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 24, 2025, at 67 years of age.

Beloved wife of David Reppuhn for 41 years. Cherished mother of Phil (Becky) Reppuhn, Mark (Susan) Reppuhn, and Paul Reppuhn. Proud grandmother of Zach, Ryder, Gibson, Brenden, John, Griffin, and the late Charlotte. Beloved daughter of the late Malcolm “Mac” and the late Shirley McClenahen. Dear sister of the late Michael (Bernice) McClenahen and Amy Wellman.

Lori was born in Detroit to proud parents Malcolm “Mac” and Shirley McClenahen. Mac and Shirley raised their family on Lotus Lake in Waterford, graduating in 1976 from Waterford Kettering High School.

Lori was active in many extracurricular activities—a trait she carried throughout her life. A dedicated and hardworking woman, she worked for Airway Lanes (where she met her soul mate, David), the Airport Inn, and later retired from Lunghamer Buick/GMC, where she was such a valued employee that she was asked to return after retirement.

Lori was a devoted mother who threw herself wholeheartedly into her sons’ activities. Later in life, she even became a heavy metal fan thanks to her son Mark and to the amazement of all his friends. She loved camping, concerts, drag racing, and especially crocheting—her handmade creations were beautiful, imaginative, and deeply treasured by many.

Known as a planner and “doer,” Lori made every event and family gathering special and engaging, often with a creative theme. Whether crafting with her grandchildren, or altering clothing to match her unique style, Lori’s creativity always shone through. She also had a deeply caring spirit. After her mother suffered a stroke, Lori made regular trips to care for her—even finding ways to connect through a ladder and cell phone during COVID restrictions.

Lori’s joyful spirit, love of life, and deep devotion to her family and friends will be forever missed, loved, and cherished. We take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved mother, whom she lost in January, and her brother Michael, who passed just a month later.
