Leeroy Simpson

SIMPSON, LEEROY, age 55, of Waterford, passed away January 22, 2022. He was born on October 6, 1966 in Pontiac, Michigan, son to Judith and the late Henry Simpson (nee Grosinsky). Loving husband of Michelle “Joby” for 24 wonderful years; loving father of Jessica “Winnie” (Nick) Beaumont and Megan “Megatron” Simpson; proud papa of Marley “Gene” and Luna “Luna Toons”; brother of Henry Simpson, Connie (Lloyd) Smith and Paul Simpson; dear nephew to Colleen (Scott) Abernathy. Leeroy worked for Southern Motors for 32 years; he was a car enthusiast who loved the art of the deal. He was also the proud owner of Roy’s Collectables in Waterford. In his spare time, he enjoyed attending Comic con with his granddaughters and was a proud member of the 501st Legion. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined.  Memorial donations in Leeroy’s name may be made to the Mott Children’s Hospital or the Colon Cancer Alliance.
