MARINO, LEE “MICK”, of Clarkston, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 72 years old. Mick was born on November 6, 1949, in Pontiac, Michigan to loving parents Lee A. and Dorla L. Marino (nee Venier); beloved husband of Marcia G. Marino (nee Allen) for 46 wonderful years; cherished father of Stephanie (John) Junga and Tony (Kaila) Marino; beloved brother of Terry Marino, Lynette (Michael) Kuznar, Bruce (Kristie) Marino, and predeceased by Cindy (Ed) Kraft; loving son-in-law of Roberta L. Allen and preceded in death by father-in-law James C. Allen; proud uncle of many nieces and nephews; dearest brother-in-law to Jim (Kathy) Allen, Victor (Mary) Allen, Pam (Carl) Blehm, Doug Allen, Pat (Denice) Allen, Cindy (Jeff) Wellman, Scott Allen, and Greg Allen. Mick was an Army veteran who had earned numerous medals including Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, two bronze stars, a silver star, and a Vietnam Campaign Medal. Mick had worked as a yardmaster for Grand Trunk Railroad for over 38 years. In his spare time, Mick loved to spend time hunting, fishing, and playing poker. The family will accept visitors on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 12:30 with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Great-Lakes National Cemetery following the funeral service at 2:00pm.
