Lawrence William Henke

Henke, Lawrence W. of Waterford, passed away May 8, 2025 at 83 years of age. Loving husband of the late Joyce for 45 years; cherished father of Chad Henke and Michelle (Brad) Lucas; grandfather of Megan (Blake) Stutesman, Melanie Henke, David (Mehgan) Henke, Kayla (Matt) Johnson, Renee Henke, Aaron (Amanda) Lucas, Anthony Lucas, and the late Andrew Lucas; brother of Sue White, the late Ron Henke, and the late Linda Tennessen. Larry retired from GM in 1990 after 30 years of service. After retirement, he and Joyce spent the summers traveling out west and wintered in Florida. He enjoyed woodworking, painting and traveling to see natures beauty. A truly wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 12 noon at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial follows at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills.
