Laurel Lee (Schafer) Haywood

HAYWOOD, LAUREL L. of Clarkston, formerly of Davison, passed away January 13, 2025 at 66 years of age. Loving wife of Jackie Hawood for 44 years; mother of Cindy Haywood and Gladys Haywood; grandmother of Tyler, William, Hannah, the late Jonathan, and the late Larson; step mother of Shelley Haywood; sister of Lee Schafer; sister in law of James Haywood, George (Mary) Haywood, Paul (Arlene) Haywood, Carl Haywood, and Billy Joe Haywood. Laurel lived a simple life. For many years she farmed her parent’s dairy farm in Davison while Jackie worked at GM. She enjoyed word search puzzles; karaoke; horses; and dogs. Her quiet presence will be dearly missed by those who loved her. Arrangements entrusted to COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD.
