Laura Marie (McGruder) Alexander

ALEXANDER, LAURA M. (nѐe McGruder) passed away December 10, 2024 at 77 years of age. Loving mother of Kelly (Scott) Pyle, Rod (Amanda) Alexander, Tim (Carrie) Alexander, and Josh Alexander (Jessia); grandmother of Ryan, Amilia, Rodney, Jr., Justin, Nicole, Sarah, Caleb, Justice, Carter, Alayna, Jadalynn, and Jace; great grandmother of Penelope, Chloe, Isla, Levi, and Waylon.  Laura was an active member of The River Church in Waterford, serving many years as the Director of Women’s Ministries. She enjoyed cooking; baking, cookies were her specialty; and sleepovers with her grandchildren. Her passions were Jesus, her family and caring for others. Her loving and caring nature will be forever missed by her family and her church. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11 AM at The River Church, 3411 Airport Rd, Waterford. Family will receive friends Saturday 10 AM until time of service. Burial will be at a later date at Perry Mt. Park Cemetery, Pontiac. Arrangements entrusted to COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD.
