Kimberly Marie Boone, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, at the age of 67.
Kimberly was the devoted wife of Leonard Paul Boone and the cherished mother of Tony (Catherine Fortin) Boone, Andrew (Emily) Boone, and Austin Boone. Grandmother of Melody Boone, Adam Boone, and Nicolas Boone. She was also a loving sister to the late Harry Walls, the late Mercedes Hadley, and the late Mary Walls.
Born with a warm heart and a strong spirit, Kimberly lived a life filled with love, laughter, and music. She had a deep passion for country music, a fondness for the simple joys in life, and a fierce loyalty to the Detroit Tigers. Fittingly, on the night she left us, the Tigers claimed an extra-inning victory over the Red Sox—no doubt with a little heavenly help from their biggest fan.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home in Waterford, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Crescent Hills Cemetery in Waterford, Michigan.
Kimberly’s presence will be missed dearly, but her legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will live on in all who knew her.
