Kenneth Wayne Walden

WALDEN, KENNETH W. of White Lake, passed away suddenly March 14, 2023 at 41 years of age. Loving son of Kathy (John) Walden Shaffer (née Knisley) and the late Kenneth Walden; dear brother of Kelli Walden and Kori Walden (Dom); dear uncle of Destiny (D’Ondre), Demetrius, Drake, Hope, Blake, and Chloe; great uncle of Camden and Aria; best friend of Shane, Ronnie, and Uncle Gene. Also survived by many aunts and uncles. Ken was a 1999 graduate of St. Mary’s and Waterford Kettering High School. Following in his mother’s family footsteps, he became a licensed barber for almost 20 years, spending most of those years as owner/operator of the Village Square Barber Shop in Union Lake. He was an avid sports fanatic who lived for March Madness often spending the week before in Las Vegas getting ready. A baseball player in his younger years, Ken was a walking encyclopedia of sports knowledge. He was the most genuine person who was loved by everyone and “Baby Kenny” will be missed forever. Funeral service will be Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 3 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Saturday 4-8 PM, casual sports attire welcome.
