Kathleen Sadie Thompson (Erdman), 75, of Waterford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday December 2nd. Kathy was the cherished matriarch of her family, whose warmth, compassion, and boundless love touched all who knew her. Kathy was the devoted wife of Michael Thompson, her steadfast partner of 56 years. Together, they built a life centered on family, love, and unwavering support. She was the beloved mother of Michelle (John) Bonner and Kevin (Angela) Thompson, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength. Kathy was the beloved sister of Bob (Norma) Erdman, Carol (Joseph) Novak, and Lana (Bill) Dabb. She was preceded in death by her brother Bill (Helen) Erdman, whose memory she held dear. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Jordan (Bobby), Justin (Lilyanna), Hannah, and Evan. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she relished every moment spent watching them grow. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to Isaiah, who brought her immeasurable happiness in her later years. Kathy will be remembered for her generous spirit, radiant smile, and her ability to make everyone feel at home. She was a source of happiness to her family, friends, and really anyone she crossed paths with. Whether hosting family gatherings, offering a listening ear, or sharing her stories, her presence and sense of humor made the world a brighter place. Kathy’s memory will forever be a blessing to those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and eternally loved. Rest in peace, Kathy, you will always remain in our hearts.
