Karen Ann Williams, age 74, passed away on February 1, 2026, surrounded by the love she spent a lifetime giving so freely. Born on March 27, 1951, Karen lived a life defined by devotion to her family, joy in the moments that mattered, and a spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Karen was married to the love of her life, Paul Williams, for 29 wonderful years before his passing. Together, they built a family rooted in love, laughter, and resilience. She was a devoted mother to three children: the late Shawn Callender, Dawn Bigelow, and Karalea Williams. Karen’s heart knew both deep joy and deep loss, and through it all, her love for her children never wavered.
Her pride and joy only grew with the arrival of her grandchildren: Monica Coudret, Raeanne Escobedo, Jazmynne Poma, Lindsey Escobedo, Mark Brado II, Rieley Brado, and Paislea Neumann. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Silas Wood, with great-granddaughter Azaleigha Poma eagerly awaited, along with another great-grandbaby on the way. Karen’s love multiplied with each generation, and she cherished every role she held within her family.
Karen knew how to enjoy life. She loved concerts and rock and roll, and her dedication to music was legendary—one year proudly waiting in line to secure tickets to every Kid Rock show at Pine Knob. She found peace while fishing, joy in gardening, and made lasting memories on family vacations. In her younger years, Karen was also known as a true rockstar on the bowling lanes, a title she wore with pride.
Above all else, Karen loved fiercely. She showed up, stood strong, laughed loudly, and loved deeply. Her presence filled rooms, and her absence will be felt in countless quiet moments.
A funeral honoring Karen’s life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Coats Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Karen Ann Williams leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and generations yet to come. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
