Judy Darlene Morales, of Ortonville, passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on August 23, 1957, in Virginia, Judy later made her way to Michigan, Where she found a place to call home and built the life she always dreamed of. As a teenager, she met the love of her life and best friend, Johnny Paul Morales. Johnny took Judy to a George Strait concert—a memory that would always hold a special place in their hearts. They were later united in marriage on August 20th, 1977 at St Vincent.
Church in Pontiac, beginning a beautiful journey together that was blessed with a loving family. Judy worked as a waitress and grocery store cashier throughout the years, but the role she cherished most was that of homemaker. She lived to take care of everyone in her life, learning recipes from grandma that she passed down, She devoted herself to raising her four children, always making sure they knew they were deeply loved and supported. She found joy in life's simple pleasures. Judy loved listening to country music dancing in the garage with a Pepsi in hand, trying her luck at the casino, and especially playing the Triple Double Diamond slot machines. Above all else, nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her family. She loved to say "It is what it is" Her love, Laughter, and unwavering devotion will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Judy leaves behind her beloved husband and best friend, Johnny Paul Morales; her loving children, Christopher, Amy, Jason, and Kristie Morales; and her cherished granddaughters, Ava and Aubrey. She is also reunited in Heaven with her faithful furry companion, Buddy. A Catholic Mass celebrating Judy's life will be held at a later date.
