Joseph A. Hinojosa

Joseph Andrés Hinojosa (22), a cherished man, devoted father, successful mechanic, and loving friend, went to be with the Lord on July 25th, 2024, in Waterford, MI. 

   Joseph, known by many as "Joey", was born in Flint, MI, on September 13th, 2001. Beloved son of Isaac Hinojosa Sr., Susan Arnold, stepfather Michael Arnold, and stepmother Eva Areli Martinez Aguilar; Loving father of Gabriella; Loving fiancé of Savanna Kreft; cherished brother of Isabella & Madeline Hinojosa, Isaac Hinojosa Jr., Maximilliano & Julian Hinojosa; dearest grandson of late Beverly Paetsch, Paul Johnson Sr. (late Debbie Johnson), Rito "Tony" (Cynthia) Hinojosa, Estella (Georgina) Chavez-Lowry, Charley (Kelly Kuebler) Arnold, and the late Linda Niembhard; and loyal friend to many. Joseph was preceded in death by his older sister, Carmen Hinojosa and younger brother, David Hinojosa.

   Joseph loved deeply and cared for many. He spent his free time visiting and caring for his family and friends. He dedicated a great amount of his time to his passion as a mechanic. Joseph was the lead mechanic at B.A.M. Automotive, with many certifications and achievements. He worked with Barry Lamb, whom Joey loved like a father figure. Joseph was a very hardworking man and generously poured himself into his community; volunteering his time, skills, and efforts to help anyone he could. 

He always made sure his family was taken care of. He was full of life, and loved making people laugh. More than anything, Joseph loved being a father. 

Friends and family are invited to honor Joseph's life on Saturday, August 3rd at 5pm. Service will be held at Ortonville Recreation Area (Shelter 1 North) in Ortonville, MI.
