John Lee Holland, age 68, of Pontiac, Michigan, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024. He was born on March 22, 1956, in Pontiac, to the late William and Annabele (nee Moore) Holland.
John worked a variety of jobs throughout his life, but he is perhaps best known for his longtime dedication to his work as a cashier at the 7/11 in Waterford, where he was a familiar and friendly face to many customers. In his free time, John enjoyed his passion for cars, frequently attending car shows, and always appreciated the beauty and craftsmanship of classic automobiles. Above all, John was a man of faith, and he faithfully attended church every Sunday, worshiping the Lord with a spirit of devotion.
John is survived by his stepson, Joey Graves; his sister, Janet (Roy) Midkiff; and his sister-in-law, Pam. He was preceded in death by his parents; his two wives, Gloria Holland (2007) and Kathy Holland (2022); and his brother, Robert Holland.
A funeral service to honor John’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at COATS FUNERAL HOME – CLARKSTON (8909 Dixie HWY) with visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Ottawa Park Cemetery
