John Charles Felix, born June 5, 1948, to John and Marie Felix, passed away on September 12, 2025.
John proudly served his country in the United States Army, completing two tours in Vietnam. His service was a testament to his strength, courage, and dedication.
John enjoyed the simple things in life. He found joy in nature, often hunting and fishing, and especially loved setting up trail cameras to observe the wildlife around his home. A devoted NASCAR fan, he appreciated the thrill of the race and the time spent watching with family and friends.
He is survived by his sister, Laura Felix-Smith; his niece, Tammy (Jim); great-niece, Katelyn; his children, Holly (Kevin) Grissinger, Anthony Osgood, Kam Rigney, Anne Franklin, and Rebekah Wade.
John is preceded in death by his brothers, Stewart Felix and Mark Felix.
He will be remembered for his quiet appreciation of life’s little pleasures, his deep love for family, and his honorable service to his country.
A private service will be held at a later date.
