DOYON, JOHN JOSEPH, age 72, of Waterford, passed away July 29, 2024. He was born on January 14, 1952, in Pontiac, Michigan, son to the late Bert and Mary Doyon (nee Leahy). Loving husband of Cathleen for 52 wonderful years; dear father of Tracy (Rod) McCarty and Shannon (Brandon) Willer; proud grandfather of Miranda (Michael) Patterson, John “Connor” McCarty, Dawson Willer and Dylan Willer; great grandfather of Cami; brother of Debbie Collins, Colleen Jordan and Kathy Luckadoo. He was kind, caring, generous and was always very witty. John was a history buff who also loved to play guitar, but he cherished time with his family above all. Funeral services will be held privately. Arrangements entrusted to Coats Funeral Home-Waterford. Memorial donations in John’s name may be made to the St. Jude Tribute Program.
