Jo Ann Andrews, age 83, passed away February 4, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Andrews, daughter of the late Anthony (Cecelia) Ferrario. Loving mother of Marilyn (Dion) Andrews-Toy, David Andrews, and the late Gregory Andrews. Proud grandmother of Jakob Levengood. Sister of the late Robert (Ann) Ferrario, sister-in-law of Lois (James) Rice, aunt of Karen (Gary) Faussett and Jeff Rice, great aunt of Joshua Faussett. Jo Ann was a librarian and throughout her career she worked at the Detroit Public Library, Wayne State University Shiffman Medical Library, Holy Name School in Birmingham, and was a part-time reference librarian at the Independence Township Library. She was also Director of the After School Reading Enrichment Program in the early 80’s. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother will be forever loved and missed. A visitation will be held Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 1-6 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Memorial mass will be held at a later date with internment at Mt. Elliott Cemetery, Detroit. Memorial contributions may be made to the Solanus Casey Center, St. Daniel Catholic Community, or the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Arrangements entrusted to COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD.
