James Oliver Gibson

GIBSON, JAMES O. of Waterford, passed away May 3, 2025 at 84 years of age. Loving father of Berry Gibson, Brian (Michelle) Gibson, and Brenda (Michael) Price; grandfather of 9; great grandfather of 6 with one on the way; brother of Janet (Bill) Green, Sharon Jenks, the late Raymond Gibson, Nelson (Terri) Gibson, Mary (Larry) Allen, Diane Hull, Steven Gibson, the late Donald Gibson, and the late Patricia Gibson. Jim was a veteran of the US Army. He retired from Fleet Carrier in 2005 after 12 years of service. Jim was a loving father that spent quality time with his family attending sports events and recitals. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling on a league and playing cards with friends. Most of all, he will be remembered as a loving father who cared for his family. No services at this time. Interment with military honors will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.  Arrangements entrusted to COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD.
