Hazel Marion Armstrong

ARMSTRONG, HAZEL MARION, of Waterford, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at the age of 91. Hazel was born on March 1, 1931 in Pontiac, Michigan to parents Charles and Myrtle (Franklin) Sorles. Loving wife of Robert; dear mother of Robert Steven (the late Sandy Louise) Armstrong, Arthur James (Barbara) Armstrong; beloved grandmother of Andrew, Eric, and Brittany; cherished sister of David, the late Nadine, and the late Ernest. Hazel had worked as a bus driver for Clarkston Schools for over 30 years. Towards the later years of her career, Hazel had drove the bus for special education students as well. Hazel loved sports, she was an avid bowler and loved to play softball. She was a huge Detroit Tigers fan as well. A funeral service will be held at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 11:00am with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. The Armstrong family will receive visitors on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Hazel was loved by many and will be missed deeply. Burial to take place at Lakeview Cemetery.
