Gregory Allan Charters

Charters, Gregory A. of Clarkston, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2025, at 67 years of age. Loving partner and soul mate of Tina Weishaar for 22 years; father of Jennifer Zettel, Christie (Nick) McPhee, and Devin Garten; proud grandfather to Austin, Ryan, Kaitlyn, and the newest addition to the family, Delyla Rose. He also had 6 beautiful great-grandchildren. Brother of Jim (Cheryl) Charters and Dan (Phil) Charters; and his loving dog, Foxy. 

Welcomed into heaven by his daughter Rita; late wife, Laurie; sister, Tete; both parents; and his precious dog, Titan. 

He was a man's man. He enjoyed watching B-rated movies, eating out, and scrolling live nature cams on his phone. Greg worked for Beauchamp Water Treatment as an installer and service tech; a job he loved for many years. Greg will be remembered for the love he had for his family, friends, and co-workers.

We will be meeting at Crescent Hills Cemetery, located on the corner of Crescent lake rd. and Tubbs, in Waterford, at 12:00 PM to lay his ashes to rest as he has always wanted. We will be meeting family and friends at Overtime Grill at 1:00PM to celebrate his life, share stories, and just be together for him. There will be no catering so everyone will have to pitch in for themselves.

Greg will dearly missed by all who knew him.
