Ger Her Vecchitto

Ger Her Vecchitto, 76, of Melvindale, Michigan passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Xieng Khouang, Loas on February 4, 1949 to Ka Soua Her and Mee Xiong. Ger was a refugee of the Vietnam War and migrated to the United States of America in 1986. She married Guy Vecchitto on September 14, 1992 and later became an American citizen on January 24, 2014.

Ger's biggest passion was gardening and sewing. Ger had a heart of gold and the ability to make anyone smile and welcome. She was a devoted wife, mother, and aunt. She is survived by her son, Chia Lor; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
